And a happy new year to you all from Sucre, Bolivia, which had its fireworks celebrations an hour before those of NYC and was considerably warmer, from what I hear.  I watched the fireworks from our hotel roof - just a block away, and it felt as if we were in the middle of them.  Very exciting and beautiful.

Hi all, Happy New Year from me also.....I have been a bit quiet lately, what with the move, starting a new job, settling kids in school etc etc but do keep logging in to see what has been happening with all of you.
