How's the precipitation situation?

The BONKERS (such an apt descriptor!) weather continues, especially the temps.

As we all know, typically temperatures are coolest just before sunrise and peak mid-afternoon. Like this:

But we've had extended stretches of little temperature change:

The precipitation has improved:
31 October — 0.03 in / 0.76 mm
3 November — 0.07 in / 1.78 mm
4 November — 0.22 in / 5.59 mm
5 November — 1.62 in / 41.15 mm

So a decent amount of rain. Fortunately, nothing like those poor souls in the Valencia region!

Glad you've finally had some rain TRex.  Your weather really is completely crackers - those temperatures are very bonkers!

After a fair bit of head scratching I'm a little baffled!  I do have an answer but I'm not convinced it's right.  I'll return to it tomorrow with a fresh pair of eyes!  I'm a little frazzled
