It amazes me that Chi does not have more players. It looks to be around the 400 mark, and not all are registered. My missus and I both agree that for the hours of pleasure ( and pain ) and education we get from Chi, we would be happy to pay to keep playing. I guess 400 is just not enough to lure anyone to pull out their cheque book. We have told all our family and friends about it, but few have continued.

Perhaps one day, Chi will go viral, and Alan will get some offers. Until then, we say a very big and heartfelt thank you. Your knowledge, humour and patience are astounding, and your years of hard work are very much appreciated by all.

Good luck catching up. I find I have to be selective in choosing which threads to follow, otherwise time gets away from me.

Thanks Hobbit. I love the fact that I can play these games with people from all over the world. Reading the forum comments about which words are common in various nations is so interesting too.

Thanks for that tip, Pat, much appreciated. Now that I've taken the plunge, I will pay more attention to all the bells and whistles Alan has kindly included in the forum.

Point taken, T Rex.  :o

On another side note, I realised that declension applies to nouns, whereas verbs get conjugated. Silly me!

Thanks guys. I hail from Perth, Western Australia. The moniker is a link back to my early days of reading British computer magazines, where some writers referred to computer components collectively as wibbly bits.

Gidday everybody. As a second generation Aussie with part Italian heritage, I'd like to comment on this one. The Italian verb "capire" means "to understand". It's declined as capisco, capisci, capisce, capiamo, capite, capiscono. This might explain the different spellings. I first came across what sounds like "capish" in American gangster movies, when a mafioso asked "capish?", ie "do you understand?". So it is a contracted or slang version of "capisci?". I reckon that this is one that should not be accepted, either as common or rare. I doubt that the contracted version appears in any Italian dictionaries, and even if it did, it would have to be spelled "capisc".

So in short , my suggestion is "no" to this one Pat - capish? ;o)
