So sorry to hear about your Daisy and I am sure you and June will be having a good cry at the
oddest of time.   I have lost 1 border and 2 cats in the last year and although I still have a dog and
cat when I see their graves in the garden tears still come    I just hope that your other dog isn't grieving too much cos they do you know

My love to you both and think of all the wonderful memories I am crying while writing this

 A South Australian idiom

'They had more front than John Martin's'

John Martin's ceased trading in 1998

Whoops spelling went a bit haywire and I am not channeling Hobbit

  I did mean 'patience'

Is 2 glasses Chardonnay 1 to many?

Hi Valerie

When I came to Australia I was told that it was a land of Fire and Floods  How true is that.

I live near the Murray River 250KM from Adelaide.

Just hoping that we might see some rain this year as we havn't seen much for the past 2 years

A cool change has just blown in 35C yippee

Thoroughly enjoyed Taste for Vengeance by Martin Walker

If you like a whodunit I have been enjoying Western Australian writer Felicity Young and her
Dodo McCleland series.  Suggest you look it up on the interweb

Carol

Thanks for a new thread Jack

We haven't had plastic bags in Supermarket since 2009 in South Australia

Amazing how you get used to it

Always bags in my handbag even when I go interstate

  Only way to go

Hi Valerie

When I read your post the old song 'When Father Papered the Parlour' popped into
my head   I have not heard that song for over 50 years  Shall probably hum it all
night now !!
