Wonderful picture of glowing  Penny.  Jack is right, the dog is cute too. Glad  Bonnie is making some doggy friends.  Maiko loved her humans & was always on the lookout for her most familiar friendswhom knew she could count on to make her tail wag.  not so much her fellow dogs, but cats were her pals.   Seeing pictures of Bonnie, Ruby & lucky is like having a cyber circle of dog friends. The humans here aren’ t too shabby either

You can see how I burst out laughing at the cartoon of the husband who regretted putting batteries in his hearing aid.  I think his wife must be one of my close relatives.

Definitely definitely the happiest way to jumpstart the day is viewing dog joy.  Bonnie’s coat is so shiny & rich.  From the looks of it, Ruby’s new doo is very secondary to her irrepressible spirit.

As for this old dog, I often place myself, strategically, along the route of the dog walkers.  Eli, who is a teddy bear like fella,
Who looks like a curly haired dusty sheep dog, is fond of licking my face which  I accept up to a certain ickiness point.  His human, conversationally noted to me,  “You get around more than most people your age .”   Which I Am sure was intended as a compliment.

Hi folks,

So sorry your good intentions have been thwarted by a pesky twist of the website. Apparently, if  Australians wish to make a donation, the zip code should be entered as 00000.

If you live in, say, Antarctica or Greenland, or anywhere else on the planet, please bear with us. We’ll just have to take this cyber experience continent by continent, country by country.

Please accept apologies for the (suggested Chi word). F#,§edness and inconvenience.

Paula

Turpentine, maybe, on the rocks, no paper umbrellas.  But ballpoint ink?

No accident that the respect shown in honor of those who stood fast for human decency in Jack’s poem and the care shown to beloved Bonnie generate from one and the same.

Here in the USA it’s Father’s Day.  Don’t know if this is internationally recognized or if it’s just another occasion whipped up to sell cards & ties.  Nevertheless, it does give pause to appreciate the ground our fathers stand ( or stood upon)

Happy father’’s day to everyone who has fathered something, and hats off to you!

Paula

Truly made my day!

The injustice of “Americans” getting home faster cracked a loud smile….

But I think my favorite complaint was the lack of an egg slicer.

What horrors travelers may endure,

Thank god for us stay at homes.

I have spatulas galore!
