Hi Alan...oh greatly exalted and illustrious eminenceness...
I was wandering...lonely as a cloud.....i mean i was wondering...
where it says users online..then has the number of Guests and users....what is the status of the guests?
Are they registered? Are they reading the posts and can you tell? etc.
I ask because i still don't understand why more are not joining the forum...only 2 last month i think!!

Words / METHS
« on: May 16, 2007, 06:49:00 AM »
METHS
This is another word that should be in...
Because:
i used mineralised methylated spirits at work.....when a student wants some they don't ask for some 'meth' they ask for 'meths'.
When i reorder i ask the salesman for 'meths' not 'meth'.
When i have run out of wine i don't drink 'meth' i drink 'meths'.
No self-respecting wino in town would drink 'meth' out of their brown paper bags..they drink 'meths'.
So there you have it..Alan..it's conclusive....
T ;)
[and i don't think i've ever asked you before...and i'll cry and sulk again if you say no....and you know how much trouble that caused.....!!!]

Words / Innie or Outie
« on: May 15, 2007, 06:27:47 PM »
To clarify the world-wide use of these newly accepted words i feel we should poll the forumiters to find out just exactly how international these words are.

Please check yours out....or ask a friend if you need help....and vote...!!
Suggestions about their extra curicular uses could be interesting..[i.e. a place for salt to dunk your celery sticks if eating in bed]...to discover if  our navel habits are universal too....???
Cheers all
;D

So, here we are champing at the bit, 2 minutes to go...they're lined up at the gate, ready for the flag to drop...who will be first out of the stalls..who will hit the fist furlong in lead position....it's getting very tense...1 minute to go....there's shuffling and pushing go on....
And they're off.........

« on: April 18, 2007, 10:38:21 PM »
Hi All,
Since i have been playing 'Chi' some names have really stood out from the others, and i would love to know what is behind the players name?
A few that come to mind are;
  Bullwinkle
  cornflake girl   :-\
  omenapuu
  mooseter
  shosh
  cool bananas 8)
  moocow 19
ceesix                 ....to name but a few...
So where have these names come from? What are the reasons behind them?
Spill the beans....

Whatever / Young or old?
« on: April 17, 2007, 07:29:06 AM »

Hi All,
Binkie made a point the other day about most of us being 'mature'...[i assume she was refering to age rather than mental state.... ;D].
Is this true..are us 'chi' fans more mature...do youngsters not play?....is that because they wouldn't have the patience and commitment?
I would be interested to know...
;)
