Whatever / For Those Who Wish They Had Snow
« on: January 03, 2008, 02:25:56 AM »
Please! You're welcome to come take mine!

It's extremely cold here today.  I believe the temperature is 3 F, with the wind chill making it -15 F. Brr!  Just about the only good thing about this extreme cold is that I was able to see sun dogs on my way home yesterday.  For those of you who don't know, sun dogs are rainbows that appear around the sun due to ice crystals that are hanging in the air.

Check out this website for examples of what I'm talking about:

Whatever / Leaves
« on: October 17, 2007, 01:44:00 PM »
I tried searching for where it originally was posted, but I couldn't find it.

Family Guy had an episode on tonight about when the "leafers" from New York come to visit to see the leaves changes in the fall and I thought of you guys.  Isn't this the term that you used as well, R_M?

Short for evaluation.  As in, "How'd you do on your eval today?"  "Not bad, and you?"

Hey Alan,

What does it mean when it shows this for a person's "Action" on the forum?  One of the guests had this fascinating status today.

Words / Caddies
« on: August 17, 2007, 01:43:32 PM »
I nominate "caddies" to be added to the list.  In golf, the person who carries the clubs for a player is called a caddy.  The plural is caddies.

I propose to add "lotsa".  Meaning lots of or a lot of.

It's in the Webster's New Millenium dictionary. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/lotsa

Whatever / Redecorating, and other things
« on: August 07, 2007, 11:44:25 PM »
Hi T.  Maybe you said somewhere and I missed it but...why are you only decorating one of your daughters' rooms at this time?  Isn't the other twin jealous?

My parents had to do things pretty equally for my brother and I, otherwise we would get incredibly jealous of the other.  And we aren't twins!  Far from it, in fact, as he is 3 years older than I am.
