I am also fairly sure that I have only ever heard this word spoken by Sylvester the cat, and had to look up the meaning again after I got it in the puzzle.

So Alan, what is stopping a chatbot from finishing every creation with “ this was written by a human” ?  >:D

Yep, I was a bit puzzled too. The dictionary gave pantaloon as the norm, although I’ve only ever seen it written with the s. Oh well, that’s what we get for having a language sourced from multiple other languages.  :D

I got it, but didn’t think it would be commonly known.

( The other animal that I am surprised is classed as rare in Chi is the meerkat. I realise this is changing the subject of the thread. Is that considered naughty? )

I’ve only ever used or read the word urethane as a noun, never as a verb. I can see where you are coming from though, because we have verbified paint, varnish, whitewash, lacquer, oil etc etc. Have you found any dictionaries showing urethane as verb?

Cool, thanks Alan.

Now I would like to make a request that nobody berates me when I miss any of the variations in future puzzles!  :D
