Hi TRex.  Would that include Pidgin?

My downfall was also kickback.  Extremely irritating.  Especially since I once worked in real estate!

Believe me when I say that I find 7bm almost impossible to come to grips with.  The game took me many months, with lots of misses, to get even a minor handle on it.  It is with pure fluke that I now manage the score that I do.  Perhaps because I blast away and type random letters hoping that they make up a word.  No-one is more surprised than I am when they do!  But, to be honest, being of "advanced years", I'm willing to admit that perhaps there are many words roaming around my foggy brain that even I'm not aware of.  The words that I do miss are the easiest which is so damn irritating.  And I don't care one hoot if the word is common or rare.  They are still words.

Yeah, but The Mighty Mike achieved far more common words than me.  Which he always does.  I'm very happy plodding along behind him.

I have to admit that I find the 7-by-many game quite a challenge.  I really can't get my head around the fact that you can use the letters as many times as you wish.  I am so ingrained into using them just once which is what I've been doing with Chi and and other Target games for nearly five decades now.  My partner, on the other hand (with whom I play), manages it quite well.  He even uses the letters multiple times in all the other games and can't understand why his word isn't accepted!  Sigh...!  But we get there in the end.

Suk San Wan Gert, Khun Mike.
Well, that's what it says in my ancient Thai Phrase Book from the 1950s.
But you get the drift.
Avagoodone.
Cheers, Val.

Very funny, Lilys Field and Jacki. Been there, done that!  Still doing it in fact.
There was also the clothing shop that had a full page ad in the papers for a BIG SHIRT SALE.  I'll give you one guess.....!

What about all the cool young hippies from the 60s/70s in their Indian cotton dresses reeking of Patchouli?  Hey, Peace Man, them's were the days!
Brut was popular with the ambitious studs of those times.

I have to admit a liking for Chanel No.5 and Patou's Joy.  A lot of the old perfumes are no longer.  Although I see that 4711 seems to have withstood the test of time.  As has Mike's Old Spice.

So many smellies tend to evoke many memories, good and bad.

We have finished watching the first six series of The Brokenwood Mysteries on Foxtel.  Series 7 is available on Acorn but we would need to sign up for it and so will wait for Foxtel to acquire it.  I found the mystery storylines a bit thin but really enjoyed the characters so we are looking forward to series 7.  Thanks for the tip.

I have seen the ads for your rebus show on ABC Iview and will follow it up.  Who knows! we might even see Valerie in the background. :D

I really like The Brokenwood Mysteries, Jack.  Dare I say the NZ equivalent of Midsomer Murders?  Inoffensive feel-good television.

Haha.  Me in the background?  Like MK, I do not like heights.  I call it a "rational" fear!

That bridge in Portugal, TRex, is absolutely terrifying!

Totally agree, Pat.  Some of the overworked end products of photography are just awful.  Haven't quite worked out how to remove drunken uncle Bob yet.  That would be a huge plus.
