Hi Alan - I think I've asked this before (sorry I'm an aging blonde!) - but you mentioned that **** was the last word you thought of too - do you play in the same game as us and what is your playing name? If it's a secret or you'd rather not say I understand.
-
I play as vizal, Jacki. Or to be more precise, I belong to a two-person team named vizal. The members of the team are Viz and Al.
-
Cool - I'll look out for the dynamic duo. Thanks for answering.

How does it work to play as a two-person team, Alan? Do you both sit at the game together and have the fastest one do the typing or does one of you start and then the other take over? Or neither of those scenarios? I think there may be other players who play as two-person teams but I can't think who they are.

Hi Pat, my partner and I are also a Chi duet on random occasions. I print out the games and we both sit opposite each other (usually over breakfast) and write down our answers. Then we compare. Being the family's fast typist, I then log into Chi and enter our combined words online to see how we scored. I prefer to use our Proper Computer (with Proper Keyboard and Mouse) rather than the irritating iPad. I envy those people who have mastered the art of swishing and using their thumbs.

Pat, we play most of the words with the two of us sitting in front of the desktop computer. One of us enters the words that either of us think of. In the hours that follow, one or other of us may go back to open puzzles to try to think of some more words. And, as people have said in another recent thread (https://theforum.lexigame.com/index.php?topic=4351.msg67660#msg67660), an additional word can pop into one's mind at any time and place.
I'm not sure if having two players has much impact on our final score because, after playing together for so many years, we tend to think of the same words as each other. It does mean we probably progress faster than most other players, until we run out of steam.
-
We also "compare and share" after each working on the puzzle independently. We usually miss/find different words and that's great for increasing the word tally. I'm sure you'll realise that Ticklemonster is the other half of the duo....we usually end up next to each other on the scoreboard.

Jacki, when looking for vizal on the scoreboard you will generally find him a lot quicker if you start from the bottom of the pack. >:D

Call me thick but I don't know what that means Les.

when looking for ..... on the scoreboard
Control F is very useful.

Nope still none the wiser. All I can think is you're having a gentle dig at Alan? Saying he's not very good, which of course couldn't possibly be true seeing this is his game!!
-
Yep, it was just supposed to be gentle, sarcastic dig at Alan

Quite inaccurate of course! But I was content to maintain a dignified silence.

Definitely inaccurate after all it would not be funny if it were true, seems it wasn't particularly funny anyway.
The fact is that i always feel quite pleased with myself when, on very rare occasions, i manage to get anywhere near you on the scoreboard.
