This was posted on Facebook - people who attempted it posted many different answers. Some even helpfully explained in detail how they arrived at their (incorrect) answer.
If you want to post your answer, don't give any clues as to how you solved it. It's not a trick question.

The answer is 15.
There are 2 parts to the exercise.
1
Careful observation of the actual question.
2
An understanding of fundamental arithmetic and the order of operators ( often called BODMAS ).

oops, I failed observation. But I have now been corrected by one who notices all my mistakes. ;D
I now agree with Michael - 15.

1 also came up with 25

It depends on which order of operations one uses!

I've had another look, put on my glasses & got closer to the screen.
It seems so obvious now.
Well done Michael.

There is only one order of operations used in arithmetic, that is bodmas.
In the final line of the problem, the multiplication has to be done before the addition.

Jack.
Speaking of Pi
Did you hear about the explosion at the Pie Factory ?
It was so loud, it could be heard from 3.141 miles away.

Ah, but if the problem is done with a calculator .... !

The answer is 15.
Even though Pat requested us not to post working, I can supply this to anyone who is interested via other means. :)

Another pi joke for algebra fans...
Q: what is the volume of a pizza if the radius is z and the height is a?
A: pi•z•z•a

Hilarious!

Good one, Began.
And welcome to the forum!

I maybe thicker than the milkshake but I make it 70

You're making two basic mistakes, Dragonman. Look carefully at the chips and think about the order of operations in arithmetic, aka bodmas.
-
I don't remember ever learning anything about bodmas when I was learning arithmetic and equations. I do remember using lots of parentheses to keep functions separate. But hey, it isn't easy to do arithmetic using Roman numerals.

Hi began
I’ve been quite remiss in not welcoming you to the forum.
So welcome and we look forward to many posts from you.
