Thanks Mike, that is indeed a most uplifting story.. it's all about protecting the habitat - just ask our koalas.
As you can see i've sorted out my " reply " issue but embarrassingly i've forgotten how to initiate a post so would appreciate a quick tutorial & while your at it, how do i attach an avatar to les303

Welcome back to the forum Les. It's also good news that you are back. In case you forgot what I look like I've attached a photo.

Thanks mate, what a handsome young devil you are!

Victorian national dress now the rest of the country has disowned us.

I can assure you Stanley that the rest of the country has not disowned you.
Certainly disappointed by the actions of a minority of Victorians & the way that Andrews has handled ( or more correctly, failed to handle ) things.
When , not if , but when Victoria gets this second wave under control all of Australia wins.
Spare a thought for Pen, she must be copping a hiding at work in England.
Stay safe everyone.

And just as good - the revival of the lesser spotted Les303. Welcome back, Cultural Attaché Patterson, good to see you.

Since Les mentioned Koalas, it's apposite for me to mention a recent discovery related thereto.
Namely, that there exists an Australian moth whose larvae feed on ... wait for it ... Koala dung.
Say hello to Telanepsia stockeri (http://lepidoptera.butterflyhouse.com.au/chez/stockeri.html).
Just when you thought invertebrate zoology had finished serving up weirdness for you to savour ...

The caterpillar spends its whole life in a single dropping,
I guess that my life isn't so bad after all.
