Thanks everyone. Where I am we're now well into the next day, so the birthday seems like a distant memory already - or is that early onset dementia? Actually it was quite a memorable day, because the small party I had was done via the Zoom video conferencing service. There are some advantages to such a party - much less cleaning up, for one.
Jacki, the secret to retaining a youthful appearance is: never update your photo!

Good advice! I go one better and have no photo - if you asked me to describe myself it's blonde, blue eyes and busty. No photo could do me justice!! I'd love to see the faces of my dear in-laws when they read this and watch them get up off the floor from laughing too hard!!

Happy Today, Alan, whatever day it is. Seventy is not nearly as traumatic a turning point as, say, Sixty, or Forty...what about never trust anyone over 30. What about Thirteen? not a great year. Twelve? Ten was a very good year.
Seventy's looking pretty good now!

Late greetings from me Alan, but none the less sincere. Your puzzles are keeping me sane while practising social distancing, and today I inducted my 10-year-old grandson into the fold. We played 7-by-many as a team, even though we're about 250 km apart, with both Chi and Skype on the screen, so we both have the same score of common words. So, yet another reason to say thank you for giving us Chi.
