Title: being on holidays works!
Post by: greenone on December 29, 2008, 09:23:47 AM
Being on holidays and having lots more time to play Chi obviously works for me.  I got the Rosette today and was only 1 off getting it yesterday.  ;D Doesn't happen very often - in fact I think I've only got it once before.

Hooray!

Well done to you!

It works for me too!  I got rosettes twice in last three days - only ever had one before this.

I suspect the time of day when I play has a significant bearing on how well I do - that is, playing in the morning goes a lot better than playing in the evening. Have other people noticed anything similar?

I usually play at lunch time, but often when I come back in the evening words that I couldn't see earlier will leap out at me.  I often have another go early the next day with mixed results.  Sometimes still too sleepy to achieve much.

I usually play the main puzzles in the morning .... not too clever until I've downed a coffee or two, or three or more and then I wake up a bit!!

I have found that I play better if I have the sound switched on!  There is no sound on my computer at work and if I play at lunchtime there I find I key in quite a few misspelt words!  Don't know why this should be but I do prefer to hear the letters clunking into place!  >:D
