And many happy returns to a man of uncertain age from a woman of a certain age. ;)
-
Have yourself a great day beachcombing, lolling about and generally indulging yourself, mate!
-
Many thanks RM, 3xB...I'm doing very little and a lot of it...it's all I can do at my age! ;D
-
Happy birthday from me too, Robbie.

Happy birthday roberts....
What it must be like to be your age??? I can just about remember...
Have a brilliant day. X

"Now when I was your age," (she says in a faint quavering voice) - all I can say is many happy returns, and while you're celebrating, don't do anything I wouldn't have done, which gives you quite a lot of latitude.

Thanks T
Thanks Birdie
Just got back from a leisurely Birthday lunch...I need to have a little lie down now...shouldn't have made room for the 'banana fritters in caramel sauce' X 2....groan :-P
-
There, there, now, rob. Put a nice little hot water bottle on your tummy ... and roll over in a fetal position. Would a nice scented candle help?

...and a back massage by two Swedish airline hosties (twins)...and...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROBERTS !
HOPE IT'S A GREAT ONE.............ENJOY YOURSELF!
-
hey Binkie...THANKS...LIKE HEAPS
If anyone had told me I get to XX, I'd have told them they were crazy. Funny isn't it...the older you get, the more you remind yourself of your parents...doh! ;D
-
I have news for you....you youf! When you get to my age you start to resemble your grandchildren in behaviour. Now that's scary!
-
:-P...that is a scary, Binkie's
Just as well I don't have any children...that I'm aware of >:D
-
I'm not touching that one, mate !!!
-
...what... ;D...mind you, I have 4 nephews...and I have the greatest fun teaching them...incorrectly.
For example, I correct the 4 year old when he pronounces the word 'yellow'.
I tell him, 'Joel that's very good, and almost correct. It's actually pronounced 'lello''...drives his father nuts it does.
-
That is positively Machiavellian. I shall have to try it on Holly and Simon, though I doubt that it will work. Holly (aged 3 ) has been patiently teaching me that the correct pronunciation of "ate " is not "et".....it has to rhyme with "gate". Useless to protest that it was the way I was brought up!

Hey Roberts, there is nothing I could say that already hasn't been said. Eat, drink, be merry - am sure you've done that already! Do it again in 2 days time for Christmas. What the hell - indulge yourself - you deserve to!
-
Enjoy your 65th birthday, rob! >:D
