Welcome aboard BCC....
Now you have ventured into the unknown world of the Chi forum once, you can do it again and again and again...just like the rest of us.... Or not.....But i am sure we all hope you do!!
Hello and enjoy...
-
Ohhh, good, someone new to talk to. Glad you've posted, Blackcosmocat - welcome to the madhouse!
-
Yes, hello BCC - welcome to the forum. Don't be put off by the number of bird-themed names among the other forumites. We're really quite a cat-friendly bunch.
I'll answer your suggestion of the word reno once I've carried out my usual rigorous research.
-
Here birdies, birdies! This cat likes the birdies! :-H
I've been playing Chi on and off for awhile, and finally got around to posting.
I'm sure I will find other random words to plague you with periodically!
Thanks for the welcomes!
-
Plague away, kitty -- mrowr! >:D
-
Miaow! So nice to have a cat person as opposed to the b**d people on this Forum! >:D
-
... and what do kitties like to hunt, and occasionally consume? Hmmm.... could it be "b****s?!?! >:D
-
:D :D :D That's why we love cats so much! >:D
-
Presactly! >:D
(You knew I'd say that, didn't you?!) >:D
-
I would have been disappointed if you hadn't! >:D
-
It is an imperative in such cases, and I try to always keep that in mind, mate! ;D I would hate dearly to let you down, O great hag!
-
I'm feeling very threatened...May have to call in a few hawks or eagles to protect myself.
But if you'd like to go after the pack of rats I've been watching from my window, I'm sure I'll feel better.
-
I was just WAITING for you to chime in, birdy! >:D
Hmmm ... rat a la mode may have some possibilities. Or a hot steaming bowl of rat bisque, with a bit of muenster for topping.
-
They run awfully quickly - it will have to be a fast cat who will catch them. I find it amazing that none of the pedestrians ever seem to see them - or at least they don't react if they do.
-
All the years I lived in NYC, I don't think I ever saw rats. Yes, pedestrians tend to just ignore them ... much like they do homeless people.
-
Once had a rat the size of a small dog run up my leg trying to hide under my coat. :o
Gee, I wonder why I'm a cat person?
-
Eeeeeeeeeeek! :o
-
Wow, Blackcosmocat, I'll bet that was startling! I had a squirrel do the same thing to me recently - not sure what it was looking for since it already had a peanut in its mouth.
I like rats - have had quite a few as pets - but even I would not want a wild one climbing on me - particularly if I didn't expect it. I was watching the rats across the street again last night - finally a few people noticed them as they were walking by, and after I was lying in bed I heard a couple of women squeal and yell "Oh my God!" So I guess there will be more people realizing that life in the city is wild! Or is that, wildlife is in the city?

Birdy, if you had been a bloke i would have made some joke about it running up your legs looking for nuts...but as you aren't, i won't.... :-R
-
just as well...
-
Nice picture BCC....would have been even brillianter at halloween...
